Eva Clarberg, currently residing in Brighton, England.
Her abstract paintings, in primary colours, are inspired by nature as well as the sea which is a constant source of inspiration. Most work is made using oil on canvas but she also uses watercolour / gouache on paper. Apart from Art and Graphic design, she studied music at college. Music remains a huge influence in her work.
Eva Clarberg has Swedish origins and has been residing in the UK for over a decade. She is a member of the Sussex County Art Club and has received worldwide commissions in private collections internationally. Eva was presented with the honour of representing Hop Gallery at Saatchi’s ‘Art Dealers of the World’ with the painting ‘Red Sun’. Her work has also been presented at Crypt Gallery, Seaford; Hop Gallery, Lewes; Old Market, Hove as well as the Brighton Festival and at ‘The Brewery’ in Islington London.
Sometimes in everyday life, you look out of the window; that is my inspiration.
